Criminal Boris gets killed, but a curious freak event brings him back to life. He decides to take revenge on his murderers. Covering the unsightly hole in his head, he goes home, where he is killed again, this time by his wife and her lover.
He soon wakes up one more time, only for the cycle to repeat itself, endlessly! He makes friends with Artyom, a student and morgue apprentice. Boris is determined to find out who killed him and why, and trusty young Artyom helps him unravel the mystery.
