General Khadyakov and his entourage are preparing the perfect plan for the anniversary celebration, the most ambitious in their careers, though their wives will try to outsmart them as always and ruin their epic plans.

Vera who is still all over her career and melancholic architect Roman, are separating again, two years after their wedding. Vera continued to pursue her career, disappearing at work, while Roma had to take all the responsibilities of child care. Being unsatisfied with their relationship Roma is leaving Vera proposing her sharing custody. Vera tries to restore their relationship until she meets rich, handsome and charming foreigner Stefan who turns her world upside down.

A year after village adventures, henpecked Kostya broke up with his beautiful bride Alenka, failing to fulfill his promise to marry her. Girl who was brought from the village surprisingly quickly got used to city life. She swiftly got comfortable with a fancy area, tasted all the city delights and has no plan to return home, hiding from her domineering parents her life in sin. Though spontaneous visit of her father Fyodor Ivanovich, the owner of the tourist rustic village, reveals the truth. Together with his wife Daria, they decide to settle down in the city they hate, on Patriarch ponds, in order to find Alenka a profitable match. Though in the end they fall under the spell of this place themselves.
