Unprincipled

Season 2

Season two returns to Patriarch’s Ponds, where half the world may be on pause, but life in Moscow’s chicest neighborhood never slows down. People here still fall in love and cheat, hustle and splurge, party hard and hunt for enlightenment — sometimes all in the same week.

Slavik is once again juggling several mistresses and a string of shady business schemes, managing to be equally devoted to both women and trouble. Kostya and Ira suddenly discover that their son knows far more about sex than they do, forcing them into some painfully funny "grown‑up" conversations. General Hadyakov’s marriage turns into a domestic war zone: while his wife Valya dreams of spiritual growth and gurus, his jealousy makes him bring out the heavy artillery.

Things remain delightfully complicated for Roma and Vera, and for Pasha and Yulia: Roma and Vera still can’t quite understand each other, no matter how hard they try, while Pasha and Yulia struggle with money problems and dream of finally catching their "golden fish" in the murky waters of Patriarch’s Ponds.
