Season 1
Yuri Kobrin, the all‑powerful owner of uranium mines and de facto "god" of the remote town of Changadan, sees his unstoppable empire shaken when his daughter is found dead in what appears to be a ritual sacrifice. Desperate, he brings in Maxim Pokrovsky, a star investigator from Moscow, whose usual methods crumble against the unsettling atmosphere, closed community, and unspoken rules of the far North. As Pokrovsky digs deeper, he finds himself caught in a web of crime, corporate warfare, and the Kobrin family’s dark, carefully buried secrets that refuse to stay in the past.
