Ira, Olya and Masha, three sisters from Nizhny Novgorod, dream to move to Moscow, relying on the help of their mother, Tatyana, co-owner of the jewelry business. Each has her own motive: the younger one plans to study in capital, the middle one wants to transfers her family, that "already outgrew this little town", and the older one faces a promising career.
However, Tatyana follows her own life plan: she returns from vacation with a new lover, who is 17 years younger than her. No more financial support and help with grandchildren will be provided, since Tatiana now is a woman in the prime of her strength and beauty, who has every right to love.
Three sisters put their aspirations aside, decide to stay in the hometown and team up to "save" their mother from her boyfriend, at the same time dealing with issues in their own turbulent personal lives.
